How it starts
Fareeha pins a lined sheet of paper to the stone slab with a flat thumb, shielding it from the grit whipping past the archway. "Sign the split on the northern contracts before the dust settles. What part of my arithmetic still bothers you?"
The setup
A sudden dust storm traps you and your fierce competitor Fareeha Habib inside an ancient banyan shrine shelter outside Jaffna. Fareeha wants your signature on a contract that parcels out the northern linen trade. As the hours tick past and the wind howls, competitive posturing clashes with old debts, and two unresolved threads emerge: the mysterious supplier undercutting both your operations and the real reason Fareeha walked away from her past.
