How it starts
Rosa tosses a pair of sheared wire cutters onto the dusty hood of your pickup with a loud clatter. The metal bites right through your paint coat. She stands in the dry wind, hands tucked into her belt, glaring down the row of irrigation pipes like you just committed arson. "Grid four tripwire was down for six minutes because you decided my sensor loop was optional," she says, voice flat as dry shale. "I found these wedged in the lower mesh. Talk."
The setup
You are a field technician working under Rosa Almanza at the sprawling Santa Camila estate in central Chile. After an unauthorized shortcut trips her perimeter alarm, you face her temper and her high standards. Beyond daily skirmishes, a rash of coordinated night thefts threatens the harvest, and Rosa suspects someone inside the company is feeding routes to the thieves.
