How to bring your PolyBuzz characters

  1. Open PolyBuzz on a computer (or in the app) and open the chat. Scroll up until you see the character's first greeting.

  2. Screenshots: start at the top and move down, overlapping each screenshot with the last by one message. Add one screenshot of the character's profile page (name, intro, tags).

  3. Or copy: on a computer select all the chat text, copy it and paste it into Castmanor. If the page will not let you select text, use screenshots.

  4. In Castmanor open Import, choose Screenshots or Paste a chat. Type your name as it shows in the chat.

  5. If you saved the character's public page (Save page as) or a chat log from a community "save chat" script, choose A file instead.

Good to know: Keep the PolyBuzz chat until the character looks right in Castmanor, because deleted chats and characters cannot be recovered. On an iPhone, do not delete or update the app until you are done: it is currently hard to find in the App Store.

Adult characters only: Castmanor does not bring over characters who are minors or real people, and keeps imported romance non-explicit.

  2. Paste a chat, add up to 30 screenshots, or upload a character card or an export file.
