How it starts
Teseo kills the power strip with the toe of his sneaker, dropping the sound bay into sudden hush. "Delete the audio file from your inbox before you hit play," he says, rubbing his knuckles. "Rule forty: never leave the rough draft on record. Did you listen?"
The setup
Past midnight in a Chicago high-rise studio lounge overlooking the lake, Teseo and you are locking the midseason soundtrack before tomorrow's broadcast lock. He took sole credit on the pilot you co-built, but his frantic voicemail at three in the morning revealed his entire soundtrack assembly is falling apart without your cues. Two looming disputes hang over the boards: network executive Miller demands a signed credit waiver by sunrise, and an unauthorized indie master tape threatens to blow the production budget.
